The world we live in.....

I've always known to be someone who love to gain knowledge. However, lately, I wish that I'm an ignorant fool who is so bloody oblivious of the crisis that is facing the world today. It's bad enough that the world is getting hotter, climate has changed, natural calamities are happening everywhere due to the global warming. Cold places are getting warmer while warm places are getting colder. The icebergs are melting resulting in the changes in the salinity of sea water...... the thought is scary enough.

Now people feel that they should take lives which was not rightfully theirs. Bombings here and there, war, suffering.... kids killed, homes destroyed. I know you wanna get richer or gain more power but don't you know that the pen is indeed mighter than the sword? Be a world ruler and take over. Why do you need to kill? To get your point accross? Do your ancestors really want to inherit blood which you have shed?

I have a multiply account in which, you can click the inbox and see posts from all your contacts and your contacts' contact and your contacts' contacts' contacts. I keep seeing holidays and weddings and birthdays and all sorts of celebrations and on the other hand, I see postings from abandoned pets, abused animals and animals needing homes and I thought to myself..... what world are we living in? Is there a parallel universe that I do not know of? One one hand, it's fun and laughter and celebrations and on the other, pain and suffering.

Kinda makes me wanna shake all those people. Wake them up from their slumber and smell all the dead bodies.
